Teton 10 is a Jackson Hole effort to get youth and teens (grades 3–12) outside, promote an active lifestyle, connect to their community and confidently engage in outdoor opportunities. This initiative lets youth easily choose outdoor related adventures in the Tetons.There are three membership age groups: Approach for youth in grades 3-5, Ascent for youth in grades 6-8, and Apex for youth in grades 9-12. Kids choose experiences in ten categories of outdoor-related pursuits with incentives and a sense of accomplishment as their rewards. For each experience completed, members will check off one of the Teton 10 categories to earn a reward.Members gain ambassador status by completing all ten categories and will be presented with exclusive Teton 10 apparel. All Apex Teton 10 Ambassadors can apply for a Teton 10 College Scholarship.Teton 10 is a project of the Bridger‐Teton National Forest Children’s Forest and is administered by Teton Science Schools and Center of Wonder.
